This is quite close to a crop I toyed with but I wanted to keep a bit more of the foreground flooring. It is nice though, so thanks for that :thumbup:

I have noise reduction software but this is 400 film and I quite like the grainy feel, but this is purely subjective and your smooth look is also good. The only thing with removing the grain is that with it being so clinical in the first place, there's the danger that it could start to look more like the inside of a hospital than a church!

Sashbar, I tried running this through the software I have but couldn't get the same sort of result. What do you use?

Topaz DeNoise. I used a very quick, simple noise reduction. If done properly it is capable of an even better rusult.

I like the symmetry of sashbar's crop. I also like the 9x13 crop because the extra foreground helps balance the heaviness of the statues on the left (to me, anyway,) but I would want a sliver more off the right side to get rid of that sign stand.

I like the second one because it seems to bring the viewer in a little closer, more into the scene.

I wasn't sure if I liked the sign included or not; it isn't particularly interesting itself but yet it seems to balance the statues and the people. I don't think it's really a distraction, it seems part of the scene. I think I like it in better than out being in B&W where I think you notice the pattern of the shapes.

Removing the grain makes it seem more stark and artificial, I'd leave well enough alone.
