Tripod Collar Mount Canon - Question?

I am looking for a tripod collar mount for my Canon 70-200mm f4. Found some good buys on ebay, but most of them are being shipped from china.

Almost everything in US is made in china anyway, so how bad they could be? Any helpful comments will be great.

I've never owned one, all of mine came with my Canon lenses, but several people have reported in various forums that they have and have been very pleased with them.

I bought a remote for my D300 from a company in Hong Kong. I was reluctant, but it came within a week and has worked like a charm. The parcel was tattered, but I chose to chalk it up to UPS. Every parcel I get from them is that way..... I don't like them.

Anyway, I figure that any money spent on purchases from eBay will not exceed what I can piss away for a bar bill on a good night.......

I bought one from Hong Kong for my 70-200 f4 and it works very well! It cost me $18 cdn shipped.

It looks very close to the ecanon version, and the paint is a very good match to the L white.
