Tripod for Nikon D40X

I want to buy this tripod (Giottos VT809)




The maximum supported weight is 3-4 Kg. Is good for Nikon D40X SLR Camera (Kit lens 18-55) ?

I'll be interested in the answer to this, I have the same camera and lense and am also looking for a tri-pod. How much is this one if you don't mind me asking?

50 USD in Romania, Europe. I don't know the price outside, but I think is cheaper.

I use that tripod for my d40x. It came with the camera as a package deal when I bought it. It works but I don't like it. Its mostly plastic and feels really flimsy. Also the camera seems to move/ bounce at the slightest touch. In the future I plan on getting a better one and losing this POS.
