Tripods

I recently purchased a super-telephoto lens 500mm to be exact, I am on the market to look for a carbon fiber tripod. Which one do you suggest? I currently have a tripod and its heavy to walk around with. Any help will be helpful in my decision making!!!!

Something with a capacity approximately double the weight of your lens and body, and which will come up to your eye level without raising the centre colum. Don't forget that to get the most out of this lens, you'll need a gimbal head, so save $5-700 dollars for that. I would look to either Manfrotto, Giottos, Benbo, or RRS and find one from their product line that meets your need and budget.
