Today I was shooting with my Canon EOS 300D. An older SLR but it was working fine until during my shoot I noticed the images were suddenly being cut off by about 80%. The first 10 shots or so were fine. The next 30 or so are cut off. I have an example posted. Thank you for any assistance!

Were yo using flash ? if so your shutter speed was higher than your sinc speed

Its either a problem with sync speed, or a broken shutter.

Thanks very much for the replies. I was not using a flash. No doubt then it could be a broken shutter. Strange thing is--reviewing the images in the order they were taken--the shutter break would have had to come between two pics taken no more than a minute apart. I suppose something like that could just go anytime? Again, it is a EOS 300D. The battery is on death's door if that means anything. Holds charge for anywhere from 80 to 30 images depending on how it feels. Fully charged or almost spent, it makes no difference as far as this new cut-off problem. Just thought I'd throw that in there. Btw, I'm borrowing this camera from my sister or else the battery would have been replaced a long time ago.
