trying to light up the sky

Anyone? Sorry my T2i will be here today so I am just really curious as to how to crop a photo like above and make it very detailed.

To get it that detailed once cropped, the original photo should be taken in Macro. That is the best when dealing with insects and arachnids. IMO

True, but was his original photo taken with a macro lens?

i would love to do it in macro im just having trouble finding a good cheap macro lens would you have any suggestions
