Tucson Model Shoot

Looking for feedback from one of my most recent photo shoots in Tucson, AZ. Any comments on the photographs are appreciated.

Gorgeous model, some very nice shots (especially #2), but why the shoes? Guess I'm way out of touch in women's fashion. I really like your work!

She sure is hawt. The pictures are nice, too #4 for me.

Cut the first two, and I'd say you have a nice set.

The first couple are definitely a little dark and a little cold looking. It's a different look, and I assume it's deliberate, but they don't flow with the rest of the set.

#3 is an idea that doesn't work for me, too much uninteresting crap in the background.

#5 is a problematic pose, unless you're shooting porn. Normally the model tilts one shoe out, to get more of an innocent "what, me?" pose to balance the "here's my crotch" thing.

#6 is a little odd. Why is she out on that side of the frame? Also, why does it feel tilted?

Overall, quite good stuff, these are just my quibbles and complaints.

Try to watch for people in the background of your shots. Even though they are blurry you can still tell they are staring at what you are doing and its very distracting in the photo.

Nice variety and great model! A few could use some fill around her face, but along with what others have already stated, not a bad set!

You should learn to better edit yourself. The entire set is good, but not great. I'd say 3,4,5 and 8 are the best of your set. Those should be the ones you provide the client and the ones you use for your web, facebook, blog, whatever.
