Gryphon really did nail it. Black jacket, two buttons, red tie. Just don't blow it all by wearing white socks. Or brown shoes. No brown shoes.

I didn't spend 5 years working in a Men's Haberdashery selling, fitting and sewing fine men's suits for nothing. My wife still calls me eye candy for the way I dress. How many men do you know that can pick out a complete women's outfit from head to toe that they really like?

Dress in all black. Black face paint. Night camouflage. Make sure your camera is covered in black electrical tape to avoid detection. Get a huge microphone. Okay, so I change my answer to brown shoes, tan pants, blue jacket (I still say two buttons if that's an option). And red tie is still okay with that.

The colors are slightly less formal than the grey and black, and it's possible that people won't notice the brown shoes, but mixing grey/black with brown is still really hard to pull off and it's a detail that could throw the whole outfit off.

Men always forget the shoes!
