Are you suggesting that I need to "perspective and distortion" correct myself!?

well... maybe... I can barely keep my eyes open... difficult day at work... don't listen to me...

well, no one else said nothing about distortion so I'm kind of wondering am I crazy... maybe I shouldn't say anything...

I'm at work so I don't have any tools here, but look at the upper right part of #1. the wall is leaned a bit to the right and pushed a bit up front. you can easily warp that wall and make it straight and perspective distortion tool will help also.
#2 you have the same distortion, but now look at the upper left lines of the wall and the painting, and now look at the right upper part, lines are straight there but on the left they're not...
