Two Studio Shots for C&C Plz

Can you get the Vivatar off camera? I'm guessing the el cheapo for the background is, correct? Do you have any kind of reflective surface to bounce light off of?


Two speedlights. One for the subject, one for the background.

Yes the Vivitar can be used off camera. A buddy and I are getting into photography together and we have at least one more vivitar 285 to use off camera coming along with some umbrellas and reflectors in the next month or two.

I guess maybe we are jumping the gun a bit trying to get started.

I misunderstood a lot of the info/opinions I have been reading on here.

The strobist thread in the beyond the basics is a good reference for strobe use and placement. I know there is a lot of practice needed.
