Two tiny beaks

After not seeing the mom on the nest a couple of times, I was starting to worry that it had been abandoned.

But then, I spotted two tiny beaks yesterday.

With a little luck, I'll get some shots of their development.

That shot was taken with my Nikon D3 and Tamron 300 f/2.8 with a Tamron 2x tele-converter. But I also have a Nikon D4 and a Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 and a Nikon 1.7x tele-converter.

I'm super stoked to get shots of the babies once they get bigger. But, at the same time, a bit disappointed that I can't get closer or a better vantage.
