Unable to Post Pics

So I want to start posting pics to get some advice but I'm restricted from posting. Do i need to do something?

How are you trying to post pix?

I'm using the uploader on the forum. I pull the files from my computer and "try" to upload. I thought I needed to scale the pictures and dropped them down to 480 and it still gives me then orange exclamation status. I see at the the bottom though that "you may not post attachments" under rules.

Members aren't allowed to upload photos directly. You need to use an off-site host like Photobucket etc.

Size them 800 pixels max on the long side of the photo.
