I spotted this red-tailed hawk from verrry far away (around 100 meters) flying toward some ducks and thought I might catch some action but it let me down by behaving himself.

That's still a couple of nice shots, especially the first one with a better view of that hawk. He's gorgeous!

I agree that it's surprising that he left those ducks alone. We have one hanging around our house lately, and he's terrorizing pretty much all the critters.
