Unusual Gear and Accessories?

When I look up camera gear and accessories on Google I tend to get the same responses back, camera bag, batteries, memory cards, lenses, etc.

My question is what unusual gear and accessories have you bought that have been of great use to you?

I am disabled so here are a few things I already own, but looking to try new stuff if it makes things more fun or easy.

I have purchased a couple of cylindrical screw-on aluminum lens hoods for use with my recently purchased Gobe/Urth variable neutral density filters. The front threads on those filters are one size larger than the rear threads, so the filters are selected to mount on my most commonly used lenses and the hoods match their front threads.

Some of my accessories are home-made because I couldn't buy exactly what I wanted.

How are you disabled? A bit vague statement.

There is a lot of dust flying about. anti scratch rag (the spay is too much trouble). Those cute squeeze toys that shoot out air. Dust gets into optics easily. Blowing rain is nasty too. Rag is great.

Rain cover for back pack.

Steel toe boots for kicking back.
