Upgrading my camera

Hey Everyone!

I have been using my Canon Rebel XTi for about 4 years or so now...And have become quite attached to it because over the past few years, I have really learned the ins and outs of it. But I'm doing a lot of portraiture and weddings (and of course my own art-sy stuff for my own pleasure) and I am feeling like maybe its time to upgrade...I have been looking at the Canon 50D. I borrowed my brother's 30D for a weekend and wasn't very impressed. When do you feel it necessary to upgrade? And when do you feel it necessary to upgrade to a full frame? I have invested in a lot of lenses for my XTi...and hate the thought of having to go full frame and start over with new lenses.

50D is getting a bit long in the tooth lately. The T2i can do a lot better for a lot less... A step up would be the 7D. That's a top tier camera that can still use EF-S lenses.

Yeah definitely t1i, t21, and of course if your even willing to go there 7d i personally have shot my friends' XT and recently T1i..must say both are a joy to shoot with ..I personally feel a bit more pro-sumer with the XT and its 2ndary display though.
