Upgrading Photoshop CS - Question

Hi all,

I was asked on another forum about upgrading from PS CS to PS CS4.

They didn't pay for the original version of CS, but they would like to "upgrade" and PAY for the upgrade PS CS4.

Has anyone ever heard if this is doable?

She was afraid to ask, but I really don't mind asking. At least she would have a paid version of CS4.

A bit vauge your question, but if your saying that the version of CS they have is legitament and their key then yes, there is an upgrade option as you can see HERE. But if its pirated, or they don't have the serial number then they can still get Photoshop for about $700.00. Unless they might qualify for the educational or student discounts.

Remember: Upgrades require a qualifying previous product with serial number for successful installation.

EDIT: Educational discounts on Adobe purchases are intended for just that, educational purposes and arn't intended for commerical applications. But they do commerical license upgrades from educational versions too.
