Uploading photos

Im unable to upload any photos. I go to manage attachments and go into browse and bring the photo up and hit upload and then its says unable to upload. Is it the computer or am I doing something wrong.

Be sure they are no longer than 800 pixels on the long side as mentioned in this sticky thread at the top of the Beginners Forum page:
