Wow, that's a lovely, dramatic looking vista.

The pictures look a little flat and perhaps a little over exposed but with a bit of work (or a re-visit) they and the setting have real potential imo.

I would suggest that the shot be tried again some
12h later when light will penetrate to the fall.

I love the shot with the light coming through the trees. I agree with the others, But, you were in a pretty tricky exposure situation there. If you get to revisit at the same time of day try a couple shots with the sky out of frame. I really do love this scene!
