Urban Lights is an installation of 220 iron street lamps, by Chris Burden, on the grounds of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Everyone seems delighted by the installation, and everyone seems to want to take photos of themselves or others among the lights. If you want to photograph smiles, this is a good place to be. (Just wondering if anyone on the Forum has ever taken a photo of another member without knowing it . . .)

I thought he died in 2015. Is this an older installation?

The installation dates to 2008. Burden died in 2015. I just read that the Museum considers it its most popular artwork.
