Using Canned Air

How can I clean my optical viewfinder?
I tried using lens tissues but I can't seem to get the outer edges of the viewfinder because my fingers are too big.

Can I use canned air (moisture free)? Is it recommended?

Try a small paintbrush from an art store. The better quality ones won't shed as much as cheaper ones.

It's a really good idea to train away the compulsion to clean your camera gear. By and large it can lead to a lot of very unfortunate mishaps. The one exception being the sensor... and that I generally recommend you have professionally cleaned.

Well I thought so too until I read through this thread and realized I'd just been doing it wrong this whole time.

So yup, from now on I'll be doing it the right way and just use runnah's tongue.
