It sounds like you can shoot with the 24-70 f/2.8 for the entrance, then change lens to the 70-300 for the ceremony, then change back to the 24-70 for the exit from the stage. Just carry a couple good lens cases on your waist, to make lens changing easier.
Or use the D850 + 24-70, switch to the D7100 + 70-300, then switch back to the D850 + 24-70.
Or flip it around; D7100 + 18-105, switch to the D850 + 70-300, then switch back to the D7100 + 18-105.
The above 2 just differs on where you want to use the FX D850.
And makes it easy to use whichever lens you want just by grabbing the other body.
Note, the 18-105 (27mm FX eqiv at the short end) is a few mm longer than the 24-70, so not as wide a coverage.
