Valentine's Day!!

I am working so who knows what that will bring. I am sure we will get the usual viagra problemo. You know the one...If your erection last more then 4 hours please seek medical attention immediately! :)
Do you get the scorned lover stuff too? Guy stabbed for not getting the right chocolates or yellow roses instead of red?

I was gonna give my new lady Chlamydia, but apparently that's what she got from her ex...so I gotta think of somethin else.

Dog chocolate people, DOG CHOCOLATE!
;)

Though I've decided that if I ever come up before a judge I'm marking darn sure there are no TPF members in the jury cause otherwise I'd be guilty of things I wasn't even charged of before the end of the trial.

Excellent come back!

Massive orgy.

You got invited too?

I'm not sure what I'm doing, other than definitely not going to school. I'm too cool for that shiz.

I'm going to take the wife for a ride. Then I'll come out of the bedroom, grab a snack and show her where I hid the flowers and candy. If she plays her cards right, I'll let her make me a sammich.

Since my girlfriend is studying in California, and I'm all the way in Norway, I've had to order some flowers from a local flowery and get them delivered to her door. Due to busy schedules, they are to be delivered today, and not tomorrow. It sucks, I know, but it's the best I can do.

Ohh, and it looks like she may miss the delivery LOL. Fail!!! Hopefully she'll get them, though!

I hate Valentine's Day.
Seriously, hate it.
:lmao: Can you tell I'm single?

Actually, I only hate it a LITTLE bit because I'm single and date-less. Mostly, it's because it makes me miss my daddy like crazy. On Christmas and birthdays, Dad let Mom do the shopping and he just signed the card. He might also buy a little something on his own...from the grocery store (he did all the grocery shopping, and cooking). He'd buy us our very own can of black olives (not even kidding!) or something like that.
But Valentine's Day...that was HIS day to tell his girls and his wife he loved them. Chocolates, sometimes a flower, a delicious dinner of all our favorite foods...and always a sweet, sappy, sentimental card (from a completely NON-sentimental guy) picked out BY HIM, signed by him with a short, but incredibly sweet little note about how much he loved us and was proud of us.

So...yeah...Valentine's Day. Ugh. :D

I'll probably spend the evening with my camera. And my rum. :lmao:

I don't believe in Valentine's Day...or love.

It is all a fallacy brought on by the rampant commercialization of modern society. Now please leave me be while I go read my Ayn Rand novel in quiet misery. *adjusts horn rimmed glasses*

I'm unfortunately working evening this week, she at school during the day, so I won't be able to do much on that specific day. We are leaving for Cuba on Saturday morning first thing and over the holidays we went shopping and found a bathing suit she really liked but was too expensive, so she settled for a different one. I went back to that store and got it for her and will surprise her with it, along with flowers, chocolates and a nice supper with wine. I hope she likes it ;)

My dear wife just home from gastric bypass. Got her a personal blender/travel cup. and oh. a new tripod for me so I can take better pics of my sweetie. wink wink

I don't like V-Day either, simply because it puts stupid pressure on significant others to spend stupid money on generally stupid things they wouldn't ordinarily buy. I like flowers as much as anyone, but why buy them around this date and pay a jacked-up price? Dinner out....? Chocolates? I'd rather have camera gear if he *must* come up with something gifty.

He knows he's off the hook. No, really.

This year we'll celebrate our 30th anniversary as a couple, 37th year of being in each other's lives. Neither of us believe in "Valentine's Day" per se, but we do believe in letting the other person know how much they mean to us. Having a "Valentine's Day" at least once a week makes sense to me. We usually used the official Valentine's Day to give cinnamon hearts and chocolates to our daughters, but they're all grown up now, so it's phone calls and mailed cards. But telling someone you love them never gets old. Granted, I've been enormously lucky, both in terms of who I married, and how our extended family(ies) get along, and I know that not everyone has that kind of luck or pleasure, so I will use this Valentine's Day as a moment to wish all of you fortune in finding the loves in your lives.
