I spent 5 hours here this am, and came home with a few shots.. Most of them are on the website, in the Recent Photos album. (51 i think)
Been editing since 630 PM (6 hours) wow, that's enough for today!

I use a Nikon d70, and the 80-400 VR, and I have had no problems concerning the cold weather., it was about 24-27 F here... brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

and no gloves, or boots!

Thanks doenoe.. I tried my onboard flash for about 25 shats early in the AM, and it was too dim even at 1600 ISO.. but as the light came up, I cloesed it down, as the shots are pretty much junk.

If fact, when I got home, I deleted them all.!!

Great shots Ray, at least you guys are getting out. I'm freakin sick and don't have my 400 back from Nikon, yet Arrrrrgh! #5 is excellent! but I would check your neat image editing of #3, lost a lot of detail in the feathers. We will have to make a trip there soon, maybe next weekend.

These are all great ray.....amazing colours and detail as usual, the ones in 2,5 and 9 look like domestic budgies to me. We never get birds with those colours! Great series :thumbup:
