Just a few random thoughts......
#1 - I usually have no problem with whacking off the top of someone's head, IF it looks intentional. I can understand you wanting to keep the flower intact, but loosing only such a small part of the crown seems to be an oversight rather than a decision. This image seems to be shot with a rather wide angle lens because the shoulders appear to be diminutive compared to the size of the head, which in turns lessens their need to support the head. She has apparently rolled her shoulders forward which will accentuate the effect. Not too far off from being a floating head. While the eyes are seemingly the subject, they seem to be over processed. The outer edge of the iris seems to be darker than what would appear naturally. The pupils look dead or painted in.
#2 - This is a nice concept. However, I think that some of the foreground elements are distracting. Not only the green apple, but the leaves and the "thing" that is cutting into the bracelet. I can appreciate the selective focus, but as a viewer, I would like to see the scene totally in focus from the immediate foreground to your subject (red apple). Let the background fall where it may. BTW, there is a speck above the green apple that needs attention. I would prefer to see a more pronounced edge to the bitten apple.
#3 - While some may say this is a stiff pose, I do kinda like it. Food for thought. Had she taken a half step to a full step backwards, you probably would have caught her reflection on a full panel rather than having that grout line run through her head. The crop on the purse is poor.
#4 - Diggin' this one. However, a diffuser would have been a great benefit IMO. From the second knuckle on.... the hand looks caucasian.
Just my 2¢. Thanks for sharing.
