Very First Photo Shoot

I just got my first DSLR kit last week, and this weekend I went to a local arboretum to give it a try. Here are my favorites. I also took a macro shot of the flower, and I will post that on the macro board.

Nittany, welcome to the Forum. You have a very good start - that second picture is quite nice and is my favourite of the three. If flowers are your favourite thing, or one of them, then you might want to look at the works of folks like Harold Davis, Denise Ippolito and Kathleen Clemons. They have provided me with some good inspiration from their work.
