I think it's an interesting shot. But it seems as if there is an overall grey...might be better with more contrast in it.

This is one of the rare instances where I'm not totally put off by an abnormal aspect ratio. I like the comp. Probably the exposure was intentional, huh?

i wanted to pick up on the detail of the boatdeck in the foreground so the skyline is not in focus

This is really impressive. There's a definite feel of times gone past here, which I think is probably because of the graininess of the shot. I love the angle, the perspective and the fact that you've taken the focus off the actual skyline. There are so many skyline shots out there, so it's nice to see a different take on it. Love this.
