In my case, I view many more threads than I post to. Sometimes, someone else has given an satisfactory response and nothing more is needed. I have no interest in getting into the "Should I buy a Nikon or Canon" discussions. I have nothing valuable to offer there and I don't really care what kind of equipment people use so there is no motivation for me. Some threads would require a short book to answer the way they are posed and I just give up on those without even trying.
