Wall Mount Backdrop System.

1st my rant.

I shopped Home Depot, the place where it took me 12 minutes to find the right lightbulb between the myriad of choices only has one choice for (curtain) rod brackets! 3 colors but only one kind...

I'm going to mount these as far apart and as high as I can. I will use my Photoflex backdrop hanger tube as the crossbar. Will work?+

On a side note, I did find some nice base-board so I bought a 9+1/2' length. Think I'll clamp the backdrop to the sides of the baseboard and use it like that for when my hardwood floors will work with the shot.

Can't see any reason why it won't work.

It will work. The crossbar needs to be rigid. Wooden closet rod material is quite good for that purpose. It's a little over an inch in diameter, about 1 3/8 inches.

I'm gonna use the telescoping rod that came with my Photoflex backdrop kit, should work great. Cool.

I literally just did this in my basement a few days ago. Picked up some muslin backdrops online, a pair of 10' wooden closet rod from Lowes, and some hangers similar to what the OP posted. Mine aren't curtain rod hangers though, I went to the garage organization section and just got some generic hooks. Hung it from my rafters in the basement, working great so far.
