I had to lens blur the water too as it ended up blending in to the ducks chest and the branches reflection drew the eye away from the subject. Sorry.

OOhh how did you do the background? I love it! Just ablur tool?

Blackrose.... I just looked at the manual for your camera. 600 x 800 pixels is not an option.

So somewhere between your camera and your posting here, photos are getting resized. My guess is, it's PhotoBucket. Unless you have a paid account, you're limited to the filesize you can store there.

Ok I thought that didn't sound right, but I figured you'd know more. I just checked my settings it's actually set at 4320x3240

That's more like it! We can do a helluva lot more with that image size if you can host it somewhere.

Man, you really saved this pic the best you could.

Blackrose, both just are a underexposed and not super sharp so they are very difficult to work with.

This one still has exposure issues although it is a lot sharper and cleaner with the background.

I think the blur should continue a bit more towards the bottom but this was just a quick edit as I don't wanna waste time on a smaller edit.
I could give it a fullblown shot on the original size image if you want.

Yes...the original source material is quite substandard...the bird itself is a horrible,horrible freak hybrid and exceptionally ugly. The photos are just snaps. "editing" them is as Dominantly said, rather a lost cause.

lol, I don't know how much the bird had to do with the technical issues but yes... it is one ugly bird, lol.
