Want to figure this pic out

This is a photo from BB Hair Show book.

I wanted to get you guys opinion on the lighting. I notice in all or most of the hair books i have seen the lighting looks like this..

The shoot I attended the guys used 2 lights with a color filter on a white sheet background.. So the color cast was on all the back and the faces as well. now sometimes the backs looked like several variations of color. I dont know how he did that.. please give me your insite on how you think this photo was achieved.

It is becoming more common these days for photogs to just light everything white and add color casts/highlights in photoshop. Though that is not necessarily how this is done. My guess would be that the scene is lit with normally with softboxes and such with a mainlight with a blue filter and some type of directional device.
