Scott Kelby makes me want to barf.......... if he were really into teaching people about shooting sports he'd be starting with little kids and high schools where the challenge of tight fields/courts are real, not roomy pro sports stdiums where he gets sideline access. And his suggestion and story on how to get media credentials is very laughable,.

thats how my dad got to shoot multiple KC Chief games.. thats how it works. Maybe not in your area but even our local newspaper photographer says when he goes on Vacation he always gets to shoot an event. Also, look what his occupation is, his main focus is shooting pro stadiums and thats what interesting not your snot nose kids. So he was speaking from experience, he shoots pro athletes so thats what he talked about he was much more comfortable speaking about said subject. If you held a seminar you would probably not talk about shooting professional events because you may not have the experience but if you shot a lot of high school basketball then you could talk about what you know. He was on point with a lot of info, i didn't really care about the credentials or any of that bs but the knowledge about lenses, camera bodies, back focus, focus, ECT.
