I think you may have some dust spots on your sensor. I have noticed it in a few photos.

Lovely head shot. So many re-enactors look like they just walked away from the all-you-can-eat buffet and need to lose about 50 pounds. Looking "real" is more than just a uniform and some facial hair. Very effective photo.

Agreed; not only does he look the part with very appropriate hair & beard, he's got a great '1000 yard' stare. Excellent image.
