Warm Day In Edmonton C&C Welcome

It was warm in Edmonton today, so I got out of my home and took some photographs in the river. Here are two of my favourites from today:

The idea behind the first shot is good, but putting the horizon in the center of the shot rarely works and, sorry, it doesn't work here. Try cropping out some of the sky to give the wonderer the feeling of more land to wonder in. That would also get rid of the slightly distracting plant in the upper right corner. Not really sure what you're after in the second shot.

nice pictures, I was today to. lol. may I add, you are insane! I hope you arnt on the ice in the second shot.... that river never freezes properly....or not in the middle like it looks

I like the polarised sky ... and "warm" in Edmonton means WHAT? :scratch:
