Maybe at an angle that leaves the head in the upper left and just a tad more space to the left?

Ahh, there's no more left. This was close quarters. I can crop the image so that the head is in the upper left. The buddha is fenced so that you cannot get past the pillars, and the space between the pillars ain't much. Not to mention having to fight off other tourists.
