Waterfall and foliage in Pa.

We are traveling from Cape Cod to Florida in our Rv for winter. We stopped near Shroudsburg, Pa for a couple of days. I am not usually a photo poster, but need to start getting some critique so I can move forward.
I took this photo a hair brighter also..I used a tripod but I am not sure these are as sharp? ( my computer is old!)

yes, I deserve 20 lashes with a wet noodle as these were taken in jpeg by accident!

Nice shots second ones not an angle i have seen before were you low to the ground

well the tripod was low to the ground

I am only low for a moment to try and frame the shot. I am no kid anymore...

Where in FL are you going to stay? I live here and know a lot of great shooting locales.

They don't seem as sharp as they should be. What f stop and shutter speed were you using? When shooting landscape and you have a liot of depth to the scene like in these, you want to use a small aperture opening like f16 to increase the depth of field (DOF) so everything is in focus.
