C&C per req: It's a nice image, but I think it would be even stronger if you concentrated only on the background waterfall. Crop out the little bit of white, featureless sky above it, and get yourself into a position closer to the fall.
 
Except for the rocks at the top which are blown out, it's a bit dark for my taste. It feels like it's tilted as well.

I agree. It lacks some punch.
 
Vertical orientation would concentrate on the fall and the water at forefront?
 
Way late getting back to this thanks for all the C&C, background on this I had my 35 prime lens the evening I took this, it was taken from a footbridge, with camera resting on the footpath to get as much of the far fall and the rocks at the base, here is the Exif data:
