Congrats on using the ND filter! The composition of this shot might benefit from a little cropping of the trees on the right IMHO.

Needs some white balance adjustments.

I agree with runnah (oh dear, did I really just SAY that?!?! :lmao: ), I think the wb is off.
And I *might* crop a LITTLE off the left side, but I'd leave some of the trees in there.

Where is this exactly, if you don't mind saying? It looks strangely familiar but I can't decide if it's just similar to ones I've been to or if it IS one of them. I'm pretty close to the GSMNP, and did a LOT of hiking to waterfalls with the scouts when my boys were in it, so it's entirely possible that I've seen this one, but I'm terrible at being able to identify specific waterfalls. Fall Creek Falls is probably the only one I immediately recognize, and it's not in the GSMNP.

If you let me edit I came up with a few tweaks that make this shine.

Very nice. If you haven't already tried this, give it a shot in B&W with a tighter crop -- even a portrait crop of just the falls.

Everybody knows it. I've passed it a million times. I've been asking the name but no one can tell me. Go through Townsend, left at the Y and it's on the right on a pull off way, way before the Sinks. Seems like there's a massive slate "patch" across from it up on a hill.

Be my guest. Let's see what you can do with it. Looking forward to it because I've never had anyone edit anything I've done before.

Thanks for the edit. I don't mind the crop but to me it's a tad over done with color. IMHO you would want pics to look as real life as possible when editing. I often find myself in RAW and taking a second look at what I've done. I would always want people to wonder if it's been edited and not tell for sure. Thanks for your feed back buddy! I have a lot to learn.
