Waterfall (Rework of an old image)

I still think making an absolute out of anything leads one to tread on creaky old boards, but I am of want to allow others their opinions. Just dinking about but if you will notice in the detail selection, much of the "off the top" spray is captured quite frozenly in the sunbeams. Also, just to dink about again, I tossed in a little cream to balance out some of the stop action...

Neither of these images in any configuration is worth this much strife. Opinions should be respected even if we don't agree. I only have one image on my wall which has creamy water effects, and admittedly, several with "in-your-face" stopped action water drops...but the majority of the pieces I hold far more dear to my eye are those which appear to have a more natural appearance such as I have presented; it's what I like, regardless of the market. I've also sold more of this type than the other two but I think this is because our neck of the woods has no rocky coastlines, tumbling rivers and damn few waterfalls. And so it goes.

Compared to some of the other OP's work, I was more disappointed in this photo.

I see the mist at the top, but it lacks overall photographic interest. It's something I would expect coming from someone with less photographic experience and as a basic waterfall snapshot.

I dislike peeing contests as much as the next person. If your comment was coming from someone posting better stuff, I might give it some mind but frankly, the 7 or so posts I saw of yours take my gag reflex to new heights. I am disappointed in all of yours. Each to his or her own and that's how it should be but what you proffered wasn't a critique but rather a baseless judgment call with nothing to back it up. In the future let's agree not to comment on one another's work or you best bring a wide umbrella cause I have a huge bladder.
