Waterfalls in Jefferson, NC

I'm going to be in Jefferson, NC next weekend at a friends mountain house and am looking for some decent waterfalls. Even Googling it, I couldn't fine much. I looked through a book that had all the waterfalls in North and South Carolina but had to give it back to it's owner.

If anyone knows of nice water falls (maybe some with easy trails to get to) around there, then please share so I can explore next weekend. I'm going to have her family there with so that's why I ask for easy waterfalls to get to incase they come with us.

If you can pickup a copy of North Carolina Waterfalls: A Hiking and Photography Guide, it will serve you well for finding the waterfalls. I looked and unfortunately, there was only one listed near Jefferson. Waterfall on Tributary of South Fork New River.

Looks like you will have better opportunities if you drive south towards Boone and Blowing Rock.
