Waterhole ??

Just outside Alice Springs the temperature was nudging the 40's so I didn't take too long getting this shot.
All help welcome as I'm not a landscape taker usually.

i really like the shot ian, looks very similar to some terrain around here. my only suggestion would be to boost the contrast... it seems just a tad flat, or maybe try shooting at a different time of day, was this mid-day?

Unfortunatly we only had 2 hours to explore while the Ghan train fed and watered itself in Alice. and yes it was about 2pm ish and way tooooo hot for us cold loving English:er:
