The dog decided I was in bad need of some exercise...since you don't argue with her we went out to the reservoir for a bit this morning. She found out she also needed some exercise ....a lot of it.

Thank you. She is a 9yr old rescue dog that we got when she was 2 and about to be destroyed. Don't let anyone ever tell you that these dogs cannot become great pets when they are abused when young. German Shepards take a great deal of abuse and no small amount of bad breeding to produce a bad dog. They are utility dogs which includes herding, security attack use was never in their breeding and must be very thoroughly trained in. At 9 she is late middle aged now, and doing very well....handling it much better than I did. lol.
