March is similar here, with gorgeous, sunny weather and hellacious rain/hail showers sometimes separated by mere hours!

We've had the warmest and least snowy winter in many, many years so I was quite surprised when I woke up to about 20 cm (8") of snow in the end of march.

"Gorgeous, sunny weather" is however a once a month kind of thing. We usually have rain, light rain or heavy rain.
