Seems like you've been out and low quite a bit and
you have something to show for! :encouragement: :encouragement: :encouragement:
Anything to avoid raking leaves!

f4 @ 600mm for this guy

At the local shop, when I inquired if they had a used 400 f2.8 or 500 f4 they said no but that they did have a 600 f4. Looks like I should have taken them up on it! Maybe you can help me explain to my wife why I REALLY need, ok, want it.

At the local shop…

I got my 600 ƒ4 at the same time I got the F4 upon release years back.
The F4 is retired but the lens is still flying high and most precious.

I've given up on such exercises…

For me Fall is about great light all day. Wish I'd had the 70-200 f2.8 with me. This was at f 4. Taken on Sunday during the ride home through the city. Oh, and as you can see, almost everything is still green here.

Gardening comes inside as October comes to an end. Cuttings are rooting for next years planting, SMC Takumar 135 f3.5 wide open.

...then I looked out the window, our resident deer family was helping themselves to the raspberry canes. DOF not as shallow at almost infinity.

...so to stay with the challenge, divested Spot of his come with 50 f1.4 and grabbed one of the deer-lunch leftovers.
