Well, I composed this image with and without the windsock. Without, it is "empty" so I thought it (the windsock) provides balance.

Looking at a single frame with a diptych in mind. I was looking for an eye or shadow to be in the thirds area. I accomplished all of them but it doesn't necessarily make the image any more dynamic. In this image, the look of the adult upon the child makes the image, IMO. It is a real good exercise in why rules don't always work. It also makes me revisit past images because I am thinking in a new direction.

Then we have a young man that could be better represented in a square format but he is a computer programmer in training. So, we have to include a monitor, even though it's a bowling alley. I am not knocking the challenge, just going through my journal as I create these. The image of the CRT amplifies my vision... I am old and stupid keep in mind.
