    I like the crucifix.... The B&W really pops things out.

    Well what is so cool is the virtual merging of the plate on the post to the tone of the road, almost making the shrine look like its floating.

    Fred, I too like that black and white. It seems more mid day than early morning by where the shadows lie.

    I was looking for something to post to Flickr when I came across this silhouette.
    I'd forgotten that I had wanted to use it to illustrate yet another way to deal with hard, mid day light.
    I had lined up my shot intending to catch those diagonal shadows on the far wall when this couple came out of a shop and walked that direction.
