Well it's been awhile.. (pic heavy!!)

So I took a long break from the forum, not entirely by choice, but to actually WORK on my photography and myself as well as plan my hectic wedding (I'm getting married next weekend!! Eeeeee!!!) and just wanted to pop in and thank all of the forum members that have given me critique, wisdom and a hard kick in the can when needed. hehe!

So.... thanks to all of you wonderful people, my portfolio, watermark & website have been totally transformed. Not only am I getting better, I'm branching out into all kinds of photography! I just recently (last night to be exact) photographed an Indian engagement party (my very first Indian get together) and have been asked to do there 3 day wedding celebration come March! So... here's a few snaps I've taken in the recent months while I've been away. Feel free to throw some friendly fire at them

Thank you!! I know I have tons of growing to do, but that's the thing I've come to realize, I will ALWAYS be growing! As soon as I think I've figured out one thing in this business, 5 more things come out of the woods. So hopefully in another 6 months or so, I'll be able to look at the "brag book" I just uploaded and think "Wow, those were not as good as I thought, I'm getting so much better."
I know I've been a terribly inactive member, but taking this online break really helped me to stop and LISTEN (or read rather lol) the advice I have been given over the months and apply it, not just say "Ohhhhhh! Thanks!" Hopefully after my wedding I can get myself on here more often and soak up more super knowledge goodness from you all and maybe one day... I'll be the one giving advice

Ok peeps! I'm back I hope for a good while!! The wedding went just like every other one I have photographed, lol, crazy mom-in-law, bridezilla (yep that was ME) and lots of take a breath moments. Here's some snaps my brother took, I hired him on as an part-time assistant recently and let him take the drivers seat for my wedding with fingers crossed! Though I did the editing, considering he learned to shoot manual less than a week before my wedding and was unable to practice with my cam until the morning of (he's in college down state) I think he did wonderful!
