Went to the Bahamas and captured this

I've been doing all studio shoots since i've started shooting and never have just gone out and captured people just out on the street doing their thing and just capturing life as its happening. I recently took a trip to the bahamas and i must say, i think i found a new love. Just this one pic that i was lucky enough to capture makes me want to go out for more. What do you guys think? Very nice image, I like the feel to it. The only two comments I have are:
-I'd like to see a bit more of the adult's hand/arm, to put the child just a bit more in context;
-the (extremely out of focus) person in the immediate foreground makes the bottom right corner distracting.

Well captured! There's probably not much you could have done to get this while avoiding the person in the foreground, and I wouldn't suggest cropping that out as doing so would impinge on or remove the background child facing the camera, which I think adds to the image.

Looks good. Its funny how that same photo with full color just doesnt portray the same emotion. I'd shoot in all B&W if I could.

thanks for the comments guys. Yeah i tried doing a crop to get the foreground person out and it just completely killed the entire picture. I just love the curiosity in both their eyes.

I also have this pic in B&W which also looks great. The color in this one is very faint and i felt adds to the mood and feel of the people and the area in which i was in. But i do agree.. That sometimes when trying to portray emotion.. you just need to get that damn distracting color out.
