West Mesa

2 shots from yesterday after going out in the West Mesa in New Mexico.

This was my first time attempting HDR without using bracketing and by setting the exposures manually.

This shot was using a 10.5mm Fisheye. 4 Shot HDR with exposures at f/5 and 1/10 - 1/60 - 1/400 - 1/1600

This was shot with a 18-55mm. 9 Shot HDR with exposures at f/8 and .6 - .3 - 1/5 - 1/10 - 1/20 - 1/40 - 1/80 - 1/160 - 1/320

Both shots were processed in Photomatix and then slightly edited in Photoshop for sharpening.

I like the first one the most.

The tire tracks lead you around the shot.

First one is my personal favorite as well. The second one is mainly there because I was excited about doing a shot with 9 exposures, and the sky is pretty cool I think.
