Doesn't really do anything for me. My first impression was "yep, thats a mountain". Boring sky, boring foreground. No real subject or area of interest.

Yeah you're right, I think the sun made it look like this(saturated)..with little modification in contrast..Well unfortunately it was taken last summer when we were in holidays..who knows, I might get back there sometime

Personally the only thing that makes me like terrain pictures is being almost surreal looking. The WOW that you get when it looks like you can almost feel the water going over the rocks in a river picture. Try sharpening the image or finding a centerpiece of the photo while following the rule of thirds. Try birds they tend to help photos Looks like a nice place though reminds me of my cross country trip that i took this summer.
