I'm going to guess the good ole U.S. of A.

Eastern Europe.

Are those Canadian flags?

Banana Republic

Thanks for playing along folks.

I have passed this site may times on the highway & always admired it. Today I was a passenger @ 100 km/hr & squeezed off three frames as we passed with a Sigma 60/2.8 on my Olympus E-M5, on our way home from the Toronto Canada camera show.

Here is the first frame.

I'm sure if you find yourself lost in Newmarket, Ron will oblige you with a guided tour.

In our neck of the woods, we've several Hindu and Sikh temples that are built in the style(s) of the old country.

When I was in grad school in Pittsburgh, I went with a friend to a weekend retreat of a philosophy group he was part of. The leader of the group had a little farm house deep in the West Virginia woods. I wasn't really interested in the group activities, but needed to get out of town and have some time to myself, so while they were having meetings or whatever, I would go for walks or find a place to read.

The first day I was there, I strolled along the dirt road for a while, turned up a different dirt road, and suddenly came upon this bad boy: Palace of Gold at New Vrindaban Once the largest Hare Krishna community in the US, right there off a dirt road in the West Virginia hills. So, as you do, I just sat myself down in front of the large Buddha-eque statue out in the garden by a pond and meditated for a while.

As if that weren't surreal enough, as I headed back to the farmhouse, I was passed by a tour bus full of Koreans (I could tell by the writing on the bus), all taking pictures of me.
